Guidlines For Posting Reviews
When posting, try to make sure to include the city and province in your review. Also, include the time period during which you taught at this school. It will make it easier to organize and archive the reviews once more appear.
If you are posting a review of a large chain school or recruiting organization, such as English First or Delter, please make sure to note that in the review.
If you're willing to have interested parties contact you to talk further about your review, please include an email address. If you register an account, you can also/instead recieve private messages through the messageboard system. The private message function is listed under your profile, and may need to be enabled in order to work.
We do, however, expect reviews to actually tell readers about a school. Simply saying 'xyz school sucks' or 'xyz school rocks' isn't going to cut the mustard. Same goes for any review consisting primarily of personal ad-hominem attacks. It will need some amount of substance to it if it is going to make it into the review archives. A good review should tell people why they thought what they did about a school and the area around it, so that potential teachers can form their own opinions. A quality review or article also stands a chance of being posted on our frontpage at www.ChinaSchoolReview.com, so hopefully that will serve as impetus to create well-written reviews. Thanks, and enjoy the board.
