have not heard a single good news story from people who have worked here. Foreign teachers are kept in the dark about their jobs and only told the bare minimum the company deems it necessary for them to know. The culture of secrecy and misinformation means that foreign employees are completely at the mercy of the company, which holds all of your important paperwork. They keep the English teachers separated at all times and discourage any communication, to prevent teachers from demanding the conditions they were promised. There is no "team", you never get to meet another English teacher unless the company makes a mistake and you meet one by chance!
The offers in the advertisements of this company are mostly lies. Ｉ received a decent number of hours but most of my co workers did not and were therefore unable to meet the rent of the apartments the company organized for them (the company DOES NOT pay the accommodation fees). They are out on their butts without work in a strange country with no support.
The English ability of the office staff is not good leading to constant misunderstandings （or them playing dumb). I was utterly aghast at the sheer lies that the company told me and made me tell others in the course of my work.
Ｉ pray that new teachers coming to Tianjin read this message and see Yuming for what it is: at best hopelessly incompetent and at worst a horrible scam! Do not even consider working for these people or you are in for a bad time.

- Advertisements are completely false - Rarely delivers on the promised hours of work - very high staff turn over as good people are driven away by inept management, broken promises, poor conditions and a range of other serious issues! |

Do not work for this company. You will likely lose more money that you earn. The entire experience for myself and the rest of the English teachers was a nightmare. As soon as we tried to cut our losses and escape, the company became vindictive and threatened those who quit with law suits and refused to release important documents necessary for our employment elsewhere in china. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this company! |
